This scholarship program is administered by the Knights of Columbus and offered to the organization members’ children with good standing who are killed or permanently injured while on duty in the armed forces. Also, the children of firefighters and law enforcers can apply for this program.

Interested students planning to join the program must attend a Catholic college and provide proof of enrollment. They also need to enroll in a bachelor’s degree program and be 26 years old and below upon application.


SCHOLARSHIPS BY EMPLOYER/ORGANIZATION/INSTITUTION

The employer/organization/institution scholarships are some of the many various ways to identify and qualify for scholarships. However, this scholarship is overlooked in today’s world of internet scholarship searches. We haven’t forgotten about them, and we have quite a few on our scholarship database.

$1,000 Cappex Easy Money Scholarship

Cappex, through its College Greenlight program, is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students attending accredited secondary and post-secondary schools. One winner will be selected randomly on the first day of each month. The official rules are posted on this link.

Leaders Save Lives Scholarship Program 

The American Red Cross offers the Leaders Save Lives scholarship for students who host blood drives. Applicants who collected at least 25 pints during the blood drive will be automatically entered to win one of the scholarships. The summer session is between June 1 and August 31, 2024 while the winter session is between December 15, 2024 and January 15, 2025.

Tallo Scholarship

Tallo offers students scholarships every month. Students can access scholarship opportunities through the Tallo scholarship database. Create a profile, click on the “opportunities” tab, enter Tallo on the search tab, register, and apply for scholarships.

Fathers 4 Scholars

Based on a comprehensive application process, Fathers for Scholars will award students scholarships that can be used for various needs including application fees, transportation, and tools. The committee members consider academic accomplishments, community service hours, a statement of interest, references, and financial need, among other factors. The recipients will obtain scholarship funds directly from the trade school, community college, university, or certification program facility they are attending.

This scholarship is open for everyone to apply. To qualify, you must meet a father who wants to be hands-on in parenting. You must demonstrate that you need financial support for your studies.

$2,000 “No Essay” College Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to students of secondary and post-secondary schools. Like most financial assistance programs where they require essays, this one doesn’t.

Interested applicants can submit their entries, and the drawing of winners will be done randomly. The scholarship amount can be used to pay for all education-related costs including tuition, housing, and books and supplies.

Too Cool to Pay for School Scholarship

The Too Cool to Pay for School offers scholarships to pay for room and board, technology, books, and other educational expenses. Applicants should be high school, college, or graduate students or planning to enroll within two years.

Around the Corner from College – $1,000 Scholarship

US citizens or US resident high school students may apply for the Around the Corner from College Scholarship. Applicants must complete the application form and express the ways they best prepare for college.

Bumblebee Linens $500 Scholarship

The Bumblebee Linens invites undergraduates and graduate students at accredited US universities to apply for the one-time scholarship. There are no GPA requirements and application form – just email your essay to scholarships@bumblebeelinens.com along with your personal details. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, either a legal resident or with a valid student visa, and accepted/enrolled as a full-time student.


COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS

Almost every institution or university, especially for their students, offers at least one scholarship grant. These scholarships are usually quite significant, covering up to the total cost of education for a student. While some of these accolades are well-known, others are more difficult to locate. Major institutions typically give the most significant school-specific scholarships with huge endowments, but this is not always the case, as some tiny liberal arts colleges are likewise committed to providing generous financial help.

The Meyerhoff Center Jewish Scholarships

Jewish scholarship opportunities are available through the Meyerhoff Center for Jewish Studies. $2,500 Christian College Scholarship Drawing

Each year, the Christian Connector, Inc. awards scholarships to students considering attending a Christian college. To enter, students must complete the form on the website to receive information and officially be part of the scholarship drawing.

The scholarship recipient gets the scholarship amount if the post-secondary school qualifies. Otherwise, the money will be sent directly to the recipient’s school of choice.

Knight-Hennessy Scholars at Stanford University

The Knight-Hennessy Scholars program promotes diversity in the multidisciplinary community of leaders from across the world and teaches them to collaborate as they prepare to face the challenges in society. As scholars, they will acquire loads of community experiences, engage in various workshops, and join global study trips.

To be qualified for the program, students must attend a graduate program at Stanford University as full-time students. Also, they should have graduated between January 2014 and September 2021 and are available to residents from around the world.

Tuition Promise Scholarship

Berea College offers a no-tuition scholarship program. Students will only fork out less than $1,000 for housing, fees, and meals and receive financial assistance for available books. Students should have at least a GPA of 3.0, present a financial need, and have character recommendations as part of the eligibility requirements.

Clark University Presidential Scholarship

Among the merit scholarships offered by Clark University, the Presidential Scholarship requires an additional application. Only five students are selected every year to receive the prestigious scholarship, and these students are selected based on their outstanding academic performance and potential as well as their leadership potential. 

Presidential Scholars will receive full coverage for their tuition and fees, as well as their on-campus room and board costs for four years. This is a merit-based scholarship, meaning scholars are chosen based on merit, not on their family’s demonstrated financial need. 


DISABILITY SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships for students with disabilities are available from scholarship sources. Students who are Deaf, blind, or otherwise physically challenged will find scholarships in this list, as will students with inheritable illnesses, cancer or heart problems, intellectual or developmental impairments, learning disabilities or learning disparities, or who have a disabled parent.

Jacqueline Shearer Memorial Scholarship

Administered by the Ulman Foundation, the Jacqueline Shearer Memorial Fund was created to honor and carry out Jacqueline Shearer’s legacy. At age 11, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and battled for more than ten years.

The scholarship program is open to young adults, from 15-39 years old, who are cancer survivors or who supported a parent or sibling who had cancer. Applicants have to exhibit financial need and are planning to pursue a college degree. They have to be in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan zone, to be eligible for the program.

The John Lepping Memorial Scholarship

The John Lepping Memorial Scholarships help disabled young individuals aspiring to continue their education. The organization is aware of the struggles that their families went through to financially support college education, their medication, and rehabilitation procedures simultaneously. Hence, they welcome youths with disabilities to apply for the said program.

There will be four recipients of a scholarship award. To be eligible, students must have a physical or mental disability, such as spinal cord injury, psychological conditions, or PTSD, and be supported by a letter of confirmation from the physician. Also, they have to be US citizens based in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.


SCHOLARSHIPS BY GPA

GPA (or Grade Point Average) criteria are one of the most common types of scholarships. A minimum GPA is nearly generally required for merit-based scholarships, but a minimum GPA might also be required for need-based scholarships. GPAs are typically graded on a four-point system, and the highest GPA you can mention on your profile at Scholarships.com is a 4.0. You’ll need to convert your GPA to the 4.0 scale to add it to your profile if your institution utilizes a 5.0 or 6.0 scale.

Crimson Transfer Scholarship

Transfer students enrolled at Gwynedd Mercy University as full-time learners can apply for the Crimson Transfer Scholarship. Upon application, they must already hold a 3.0 GPA and have completed the initial admissions process. The recipient can renew their scholarship for three years as long as they keep a minimum of 3.0 GPA.

Mother Mary Bernard Scholarship

First-time students at Gwynedd Mercy University can apply for the Mother Mary Bernard Scholarship program. As part of the selection process, this program is based on the applicant’s high school GPA. The scholarship is open for renewal for up to three years, as long as they’ve maintained a minimum 2.75 GPA.

McAuley Scholarship

The McAuley Scholarship is offered to students of Gwynedd Mercy University who hold a minimum of 3.5 GPA. Students must be first-time students at the university and are part of the Honors Program. Normally, those under the McAuley Scholarship can qualify for the Presidential Scholarship–a full-tuition grant.


DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS

University of Wisconsin Superior Non-resident Tuition Waiver Program

The Non-resident Tuition Waiver (NTW) Scholarship program is offered to students from diverse backgrounds to make the cost of studying at the University of Wisconsin affordable. Undergraduates and graduate students are welcome to send their applications. 

One scholarship will be awarded based on academic merit or financial need. Check the page for the estimated tuition amount for each award.

Awards are subject to a rolling basis after the recipient’s admission is offered.

Applicants must be 16 years or older and currently enrolled in a qualified US high school, college, or university. To qualify, they also must be legal residents of any of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, or US territories, except Rhode Island and Michigan.

The AIChE Minority Scholarship Award

AIChE offers a Minority Scholarship Award to selected undergraduate student members every year. The applicant must be an undergraduate Chemical Engineering student of African-American, Hispanic, Native American, Alaskan Native, or Pacific Islander descent.

The student will receive the scholarship award throughout the school year, renewable to the following year as long as they meet the eligibility requirements. 

The Skin Care Ox: Beauty + Wellness Scholarship for Women

Women who strive to live healthy lives can apply for the Skin Care Ox: Beauty + Wellness Scholarship for Women program. This scholarship is for high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students committed to maintaining personal wellness. Women residing in the US and enrolled in any major may apply, regardless of GPA.

The quality of your writing will be judged according to the originality, creativity, and advocacy of healthy lifestyle choices. The short online application can also be submitted based on the quarterly deadlines – January 1, March 31, June 30, and September 30 every year. 

Nitro Scholarship

Individuals interested in the Nitro Scholarship Sweepstakes must be legal residents of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the territories of the United States. Applicants must also be at least 17 years old and meet one of the four eligibility requirements including students currently enrolled in accredited US schools. 

Advantage Iowa Award

The Advantage Iowa award is for students from an underrepresented group who wish to study at the University of Iowa or other institutions that have joined the Upward Bound program. In this merit-based scholarship, applicants must be full-time students with a GPA of 2.0. 

Applicants who are not residents of Iowa are eligible for this scholarship.
